Iranian chess player to be awarded for fair play
EghtesadOnline: International Olympic Committee (IOC) in a letter to National Olympic Committee of IRAN demanded that Iranian Grandmaster Sarasadat Khademalsharieh's documents be sent to them for 2016 good behavior award.
National Olympic Committee of IRAN had previously sent a letter to IOC Ethics Commission on Khademalsharieh and recommended her be chosen the ethical athlete of the year.
During a chess competition held on November 27, the 19-year-old Iranain player admitted a draw to let her Ukranian rival visit her friend who was hospitalized due to heart attack, IRNA reported.
Khademalsharieh ranked 3rd in the 5th stage of Women Grand Prix Khanty Mansiysk 2016 held in Russia.
