Iranian health minister to visit Cuba

EghtesadOnline: Iranian health minister Seyed Hassan Ghazizadeh Hashemi will travel to Havana in order to attend in 16thIran-Cuba Joint Economic Commission.

“The 15th Joint Economic Commission between the two countries held five years ago and now holding the 16th commission is so important for both countries,” Iranian health minister deputy on international affairs Dr Asadi Lari said.

“Various institutions have already expressed their desire to contact with Cuba especially in science and technology field and we are trying to pave the way,” he confirmed, adding “during this visit several documents and agreements would be signed including comprehensive document of agricultural, sport, Nano-technology and academic cooperation, the program of cooperation between Red Cross and Cuban Red Crescent, food agreements and pharmaceutical and medical equipment protocol.”

“Generally 15 documents are provided which would be signed during this visit. After Cuba, Iranian health minister will travel to Mexico to meet its high-ranking officials,” ISNA quoted Asadi Lari as saying.
