Pak commerce minister calls for trade liberalization among ECO member states
EghtesadOnline: Pakistan Minister for Commerce Khurram Dastgir Khan has stressed the need for trade liberalization and for resolving VISA issues in Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) countries for enhancing the trade volume, Pakistan's state news agency APP reported.
The minister made the remarks while addressing ECO Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) meeting of Specialized Committee of ECO-CCI in Islamabad.
Gholam Hossein Sahfei head of Iran Chamber of Commerce and Industry led the Iranian delegation in the meeting, IRNA reported.
Khurram said that regional trade and investment in ECO countries is a must for sharing prosperity and economic development.
He assured that Pakistan is a peaceful country and becoming more peaceful for achieving the goals of economic development and prosperity.
