Persian language is taught in 40 universities in India
EghtesadOnline: Persian language is taught in 40 universities in India, a Persian language and literature professor at the Islamic National University of New Delhi announced.
“Indians need Persian language because a part of our historical identity is related to this language,” Persian language and literature professor at the Islamic National University of New Delhi Mehdi Bagherkhan said.
“Persian language belongs to the entire Indian subcontinent and has been the official language of India for more than 800 years in a way that works in Urdu and Hindi seen much of it yet,” ISNA quoted him as saying.
“Persian language is taught in 40 universities in India and can be developed more,” the professor emphasized.
