Iran, Russia sign agreement to expand standard ties
EghtesadOnline: Tehran and Moscow signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on boosting cooperation in the field of standards and standardization.
The MoU was signed between the heads of the two countries’ standard organizations at the presence of President Hassan Rouhani and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Wednesday.
According to the MoU signed between Head of Iran’s Standard Organization Nayereh Pirouzbakht and Head of the Russian Federal Service for Accreditation Alexey Khersontsev, the two countries will cooperate in the standard field for a period of five years.
According to IRNA, President Rouhani heading a high-ranking delegation was in Moscow on Monday and Tuesday at a formal invitation by his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.
