Radiopharmaceutical production line inaugurated in Iran
EghtesadOnline: On the 11th anniversary of Iran’s National Nuclear Technology Day, the production and development line of cyclotrons radiopharmaceutical was inaugurated with the president’s message through a video conference today.
The line was put to operation in Karaj Cyclotrons Radiopharmaceutical Research and Production Center as one of the most important national projects of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
According to IRNA, Fludeoxyglucose (18F) also known as FDG, which is used in Positron emission tomography (PET), is the most significant product being developed in this center.
