Social Housing Plan in Two Months

"After the notification of its budget, the plan will be implemented in the [Iranian month of] Khordad (May 22-June 21)," Javad Haqshenas also told ILNA. According to the official, the plan is a subcategory of the government's Comprehensive Housing Plan that incorporates programs to provide low-income groups with affordable housing. The scheme will cover 3-4 million households.  It aims to build 100,000 residential units a year and "24 trillion rials ($640 million) worth of loans have been earmarked to implement it" which will be provided by the Central Bank of Iran at an interest rate of 5%, according to Financial Tribune.
