Iran-Pakistan FTA Talks in July
EghtesadOnline: The second round of negotiations between Pakistan and Iran on a free trade agreement will be held in July to discuss ways of enhancing trade volume, Pakistan’s largest English-language newspaper The News International reported on its website.
Reviewing the mutual trade list will be on the agenda of the talks for finalizing the agreement, a senior official of the ministry of commerce said on Wednesday.
Talking to Associated Press of Pakistan, the official said a joint ministerial level meeting between the two countries was scheduled next month to hold preparatory discussions for the FTA.
“We are looking forward for talks to enhance bilateral trade and export to Iran,” Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
