Kuwait broadens economic cooperation with Iran
EghtesadOnline: Kuwaiti government is to facilitate five important ports in the country to bolster economic cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq, Kuwaiti minister said on Sunday.
Kuwait is to turn some very important islands to economic hubs to increase volume of imports and exports from the country mainly with Iran and Iraq via joint water borders, the minister said.
Kuwait’s government is to invest over $100 billion in those areas and have initiated talks with the Chinese companies, IRNA quoted him as saying.
Expansion of relations and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran and Iraq help maintain regional stability, he said.
