9 New Piers to Be Inaugurated in Chabahar
EghtesadOnline: Nine piers have been built on Iran’s southern coastlines along the Sea of Oman at Chabahar Port, which will be inaugurated within two months, Mohammad Saeed Arbabi, an official with Ports and Maritime Organization, has announced.
The new piers were set up with an aggregate investment of about 9 trillion rials ($240 million). All technical equipment needed for their construction were imported from European countries, Mehr News Agency quoted Arbabi as saying.
