S Korean companies to get familiar with Iranian laws: Envoy

EghtesadOnline: South Korean ambassador to Tehran said on Tuesday that the companies in his country will get more familiar with the Iranian laws in the area of intellectual property (IP).

News ID: 777937

The familiarization can foster bilateral ties, Kim Seung Ho said at a seminar on the IP with Iran, according to IRNA.

He further descried the intellectual property as a base for the two countries' economies.

As the envoy said, today's knowledge has no border and the intellectual property rights (IPRs) is created to serve it.

Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the intellect for which a monopoly is assigned to designated owners by law and intellectual property rights (IPRs) are the rights granted to the creators of IP and include trademarks, copyright, patents, and industrial design rights.
