Iranian Exchanges Closed on Saturday
EghtesadOnline: All four Iranian exchanges, including Tehran Stock Exchange, Iran Fara Bourse, Iran Mercantile Exchange and Iran Energy Exchange, will be closed on Saturday, the head of International and Public Relations Department of Securities and Exchange Organization, Yaser Fallah, announced.
The first day of the week has been declared a holiday to ensure the smooth organization of the inauguration ceremony for President Hassan Rouhani who was reelected in May for a second term, Bourse Press reported. All state and public institutions and organizations, except for those extending emergency services, will be closed on Saturday, according to the Cabinet secretary, Mohsen Haji-Mirzaei. The inaugural ceremony is to be attended by a large number of foreign delegations, IRNA reported.
