Austria Institute Will Train Auto Parts Makers
EghtesadOnline: Rab’-e Rashidi Science and Technology Special Economic Zone in the northwestern city Tabriz has reached an agreement with the Austrian Institute of Technology to train auto parts designers.
The contract, under the auspices of Iran’s Supreme Council of Research and Technology, was signed Wednesday during a meeting attended by industrial leaders in the province, according to the website of the council. Referring to the high capacity of parts manufacturers in the province, Ali Jehangiri, head of the SEZ , said the aim is to help increase the knowledge and skills of domestic parts makers and by extension the quality of locally- built cars. According to Financial Tribune, he expressed hope that the expertise from cooperating with the Austrians would be transferred to the “industry across the country”.
