Iran's red gold exports increase
EghtesadOnline: The export of Iranian saffron has increased 25 percent in the first four months of the Iranian year (started on March 21) compared to the same date last year.
During the period, Iran exported more than 58 tons of saffron to 50 countries around the world with a value of over $78 million which shows an increase of 25.30 percent in weight and 22.91 percent in value, ISNA reported.
Spain, Australia, South Africa, Afghanistan, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, United States, Italy, Bahrain, Belgium, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Taiwan, Turkey, Czech Republic, South Korea, China, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, Iraq, Oman, France, Philippines, Qatar, Canada, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Nepal, New Zealand, Netherlands, Hong Kong and Greece were the customers of Iranian saffron during the period.
