Qeshm Airport service hub for passing planes
EghtesadOnline: Managing Directors of Qeshm Free Trade Zone Hamid Reza Momeni and Ouj Fuel Supply and Airport Services Company Ali Harandi signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Monday.
During the signing ceremony, Momeni said signing MoU for fuel supply for foreign and domestic flights with Iran's sole international private company in this concern, which is working in Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA) as well, may turn the island airport to a hub for fuel supplying and airport services for passing planes from international corridor of the region, according to IRNA.
He said his organization is responsible to provide, possibility, facilitate affairs and advertisement upon the MoU and all obligations should be executed in next three months and the cooperation may be renewed by mutual satisfaction.
More than 504,000 passengers with 2,774 sortie flights have been transferred past year from this airport.
