Iran linked to 4 foreign video game developers: Minister
EghtesadOnline: Iran has been directly linked to four foreign video game developers, Minister of Communications and Information Technology said in an Instagram post on Friday.
Mohammad Javad Azari Jahromi said the four companies are Valve Corporation, Blizzard Entertainment Video Game Company, Riot Games, and Gameforge Company which are all American ones, IRNA reported.
After being connected to the four above-mentioned game developers, the ping has reached 80 millisecond, he said.
Ping is a computer network administration software utility used to test the reachability of a host on an Internet Protocol network.
Azari Jahromi went on to say that some Iranian elites and youth have started developing video games and they need to be supported by the government.
