Iran's economic growth hits 7% year-on-year

EghtesadOnline: Iran's economic growth, excluding oil, reached 7% during a one-year period from spring 2016 to spring 2017, according to a senior official with Statistical Center of Iran.

Speaking to reporters, Javad Hosseinzadeh also said that Iran's gross domestic product (GDP), including oil reached 1,840 trillion rials from 1,720 trillion rials in the same period showing a 6.5% economic growth. 

This is while the county's GDP, excluding oil, reached 1,480 trillion rials from 1,360 trillion rials in the mentioned period to bring about a 6.5% economic growth, according to IRNA. 

On the difference between economic growth, including oil, and economic growth, excluding oil, the official said that oil has grown significantly a year ago and its growth has been much slower this year.
