Iran aims to boost non-oil exports to Africa by 2020
EghtesadOnline: Based on Iran-South Africa trade ties roadmap, Iran is scheduled to increase non-oil exports to South Africa to $2 billion by 2020, Iranian commercial attaché to S. Africa said.
Mehrdad Siadat Nasab made the remarks Monday on the sidelines of Iran-South Africa joint commission meeting, IRNA reported.
The trade exchange volume between two countries is now about $400 million, he said.
Siadat Nasab expressed hope for the commission to bring solution for banking ties and to increase trade ties between Iran and South Africa.
Siadat Nasab went on to say that about 50 firms in infrastructure, agriculture, oil and gas, banking and financial field and over 100 South African companies participated in the event.
