Iran, N Europe to link by N-S corridor completion: Minister
EghtesadOnline: Iranian Economy Minister said that Iran and Azerbaijan have taken big steps towards completing the North-South corridor railway which will connect Iran to northern Europe and Azerbaijan to the Persian Gulf.
Speaking on Thursday in Baku, Azerbaijan, Masoud Karbasian said that after completion of Astara-Astara railroad, which is close to completion, and Astara-Rasht, in north of Iran 'we can have good access to North Europe railroads, and Azerbaijan will be connected to the Persian Gulf'.
According to IRNA, he also said that the Iranian, Russian and Azeri presidents, Hassan Rouhani, Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev, will have a meeting in Tehran in the coming week.
