Ivory Coast official calls for expansion of trade cooperation
EghtesadOnline: An official from Ivory Coast embassy in Tehran Karim Sise Vatara said on Sunday his country is ready for cooperation with Iranian investors to develop cooperation in the field of water, electricity, mine, communication and food materials.
He made the remarks in a gathering here dubbed as; 'Iran, Africa investment and economic', according to IRNA.
By pointing to Ivory Coast capabilities, Vatara called on the Iranian investors not to hesitate in attending Ivory Coast market.
He said Ivory Coast is a safe country for investment and underlined that to develop cooperation the two nations need to know more about each other.
Vatara reminded that many raw materials like coffee and cocoa there exist in Ivory Coast, which could be attractive for Iranian investors.
He added that his country compiled five-year plan for its development (2016-2020), which hundreds of projects and plans are predicted in this phase and added that the Iranian private sector may have participation in these projects.
Vatara said that his country is ready to disposal venues and places to Iranian businessmen and traders to offer their merchandises on this condition to employ local people.
