The attendees will survey ways of increasing rail interactions and the possibility of lowering tariffs on rail exports, imports and transit, Mehr News Agency reported. The Persian Gulf-Black Sea Transport Corridor connects the Middle East to Central and Eastern Europe. It stretches from Bulgaria through Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia to Iran.  The Islamic Republic seeks to use the corridor as an alternative for the current route to Europe that passes through Turkey, according to Financial Tribune.
