IRIB Mulls Issuing Bonds
EghtesadOnline: The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting is considering issuing Islamic bonds in the Iranian capital market, the head of Iran Far Bourse said.
“The initial permissions for issuing IRIB’s manfaat sukuk to fund the broadcaster’s advertisement have been granted,” Amir Hamouni was also quoted by IRNA as saying.
Manfaat sukuk is a security stating one’s ownership of a certain service or future profits of a lasting commodity transferred for a certain price.
The security can help meet the businesses’ immediate need for liquidity with no access to an end-user to finance their operations, Financial Tribune reported.
