Macaroni Producers, Exporters Establish Association
EghtesadOnline: Tehran’s Association of Macaroni Producers and Exporters has been formed under the auspices of Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture and it held the first meeting at the chamber’s premises.
According to Ahmad Sadeqian, a member of the association, heavy taxation has led to the closure of 30-40% of production units, adding that the remaining units are operating below their capacities. Sadeqian expressed hope that the establishment of the association will help producers have their voice heard by the authorities, according to Financial Tribune.
