1st Refrigerated Export to UAE Via Bandar Lengeh
EghtesadOnline: A total of 200 tons of fruit and vegetable have been exported, for the first time, to the UAE via Bandar Lengeh Port in the southern Hormozgan Province, the director of Bandar Lengeh Ports and Maritime Directorate said on Sunday.
Qasem Askarinasab added that the 9-TEU refrigerated container was sent by two landing crafts to Dubai. “Bandar Lengeh is located about 67 miles from Dubai and Sharjah in the UAE, the closest sea route between Iran’s southern coasts and the main ports of the neighboring country,” he was quoted as saying by the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development’s news outlet.
