12% Growth in Exports From Khuzestan
EghtesadOnline: A total of 16.74 million tons of non-oil products worth $8 billion were exported from the southern Khuzestan Province to nine countries during the last Iranian year (ended March 20, 2019), which shows a 12% growth in value compared with the previous year.
According to Superintendent of Khuzestan Customs Offices Gholamreza Balouti Mirza, the main export destinations were China, Iraq, the UAE, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Oman, Kuwait and Egypt, Mehr News Agency reported.
“The province's customs revenues hit 29.44 trillion rials ($210 million) during the period, indicating a 9% year-on-year rise,” Financial Tribune quoted him as saying.
