Over 1,800 Businesses Closed for Flouting Virus Protocols
EghtesadOnline: Enforcement measures were taken by the Inspection and Oversight Department of Iran Chamber of Guilds to ensure businesses abide by social distancing regulations.
According to Behnam Nikmanesh, the deputy head of the chamber, 1,861 businesses were closed down during the first half of the current Iranian year (March 20-Sept. 21) due to their failure to take appropriate measures to comply with health and safety protocols related to the prevention of Covid-19 transmission.
“Businesses that don’t adhere to Covid-19 health guidelines will be closed down immediately,” he declared.
