TSE Closes Flat
EghtesadOnline: Shares closed on Tuesday subtly above the flatline amid steep decline in trade amid investors’ preference to wait and see.
The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, the market cap-weighted TEDPIX, gained 708.09 points or 0.05% to end trade at 1,425,440.
Majority of small caps were again under sell-side pressure, dragging down the TSE’s equal-weighted index by 0.34%.
Value of trade declined 58% compared with a session before and net capital outflow by retail traders stood at 2.63 trillion rials ($10 million).
About 5.76 billion shares valued at 50.8 trillion rials ($188m) changed hands at TSE for the day. Parsian Leasing Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 4.98% to 5,034 rials per share.
Damavand Mining Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and plunged 5% to 135,290 rials per share.
Mobarakeh Steel Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by MAPNA Group, Khouzestan Steel Company and Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company.
Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Ghadir Investment Company and Shiraz Petrochemical Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, gained 53.21 points or 0.26% to close Tuesday trade at 20,859.3.
About 2.87 billion securities valued at 231.46 trillion rials ($857.28m) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 498.6 million of its shares worth 531.4 billion rials ($1.9m) were traded.
Pasargad Insurance Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company, Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company and Iran Fara Bourse had the most negative impact on IFX.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Minoo Industrial Group Company.
