Tajikistan Discusses Use of Seaports With Iran
EghtesadOnline: Tajikistan has discussed the use of Iranian seaports for expansion of trade with countries in the region.
Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Iran Nizomiddin Zohidi met with Hormozgan Province’s Governor General Mehdi Dousti. The meeting was also attended by heads of economic and trade departments of this province, AKIPRESS reported citing the Tajikistan’s Foreign Ministry.
In view of a huge transit and transport capacity of Hozmorgan Province, issues related to the use of seaports of this province, Bandar Abbas in particular, were discussed.
Hozmorgan’s officials outlined economic and trade potentials of the province and expressed their readiness for mutually beneficial cooperation with Tajikistan.
