TSE Logs Another Dip

EghtesadOnline: Tehran’s share market was lukewarm on Tuesday with the main gauge of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, shedding 4,365.33 points to fall 0.33% and close at 1,337,987.

The TSE’s equal-weighted index was down more than 0.7%, indicating that small caps had more to lose.

After consecutive drops in the past sessions, retail trade rebounded and reached 34.6 trillion rials ($118 million), posting 10% increases and contributing to almost half of total deals on Tuesday.    

About 3.6 billion shares valued at 31.43 trillion rials ($112.3m) changed hands at TSE for the day.

Omid Development and Construction Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 5.13% to 1,435 rials per share.

Doodeh Sanati Pars Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 4.92% to 12,170 rials per share.

Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Fanavaran Petrochemical Company, Nouri Petrochemical Company and Social Security Investment Company.

Pardis Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Jam Petrochemical Company and Shazand Petrochemical Company.

 

 

IFB’s Downward Spiral Continues

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 77.71 points or 0.41% to close Tuesday trade at 19,103. About 1.36 billion securities valued at 29.93 trillion rials ($107m) were traded at the junior exchange for the day.

Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company had the highest trade as 116.77 million of its shares worth 1.37 trillion rials ($4.9m) were sold.

Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company, Minoo Industrial Group Company and Iran Fara Bourse had the most negative impact on IFX.

Saman Insurance Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Tukarail Company and Saba Tamin Investment Company.
