Iran, Armenia Sign MoU to Expand Labor Cooperation
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was inked between Iran and Armenia on Tuesday in the fields of workforce exchange, technical and vocational training, welfare services and empowerment of the disabled, petrochemical, road construction, building materials, and medicine.
The signing an MoU came following last year’s visit by Iran’s Minister of Labor, Cooperatives and Social Welfare Sowlat Mortazavi to Armenia and a visit by Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan to Tehran this week.
During their meeting on Tuesday, the two sides emphasized the need for elevating bilateral cooperation in various fields including the exchange of labor force, technical and vocational training (TVT), welfare services, empowerment of the disabled, and cooperation in the production of petrochemicals, road and construction, building materials, cement and medicine. / Tasnim
