Hamas shattered Israeli, US grandeur: senior cleric
The Tehran Friday Prayers interim Leader Hujjat al-Islam Kazem Sediqi hailed the Palestinian Hamas movement for the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, saying that the Resistance shattered Tel Aviv and Washington's grandeur.
Speaking during this week's Friday Prayers sermn in Tehran, the provisional Imam Jazem Sediqi commemorated the start of Basij voluntary forces week known as ""Basij Week" in short and hailed the Baisj's role in maintaining security and helping the needy.
He pointed out that the Basijis are very humble when it comes to the poor the needy people, but they are arrogant and do now bow to pressures when they face off arrogant powers (Western states).
The senior cleric went on to point to the Gaza battle between the Palestinian Resistance and the invading Israeli army, saying that the Hamas movement's Al-Aqsa Storm operation shattered Israel and the United States' grandeur.
Sediqi said while previously the Resistance was in a defensive position, now it had adopted an offensive approach.
He also said that Hamas shattered Israel and America's grandeur by relying on the Islamic faith.
The senior cleric further described the truce which took effect on Friday morning as an achievement for Hamas.
He continued to note that with the lethal missiles and other weapons that the Palestinian Resistance and other Resistance groups have in the region, the Zionists will not enjoy security anymore. / MEHR
