Iran reacts to martyrdom of IRGC advisors in Israel strike
EghtesadOnline: Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nasser Kan'ani reacted to the Israeli strikes on Syria that led to the martyrdom of 4 IRGC advisors.
Strongly condemning the Israeli strikes on the Syrian residential area, Kan'ani said that the Zionists' criminal and aggressive act was a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria.
He said that such a crime indicates the helplessness of the Israeli regime on the battlefield, terming it a desperate attempt by the Zionists to spread instability and insecurity in the region.
The senior Iranian diplomat called on international organizations, especially the UNSC, to condemn the Israeli regime's crimes.
The military advisers of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who are present in Syria country at the official invitation of the Syrian government, have played an important role in helping the Syrians fight terrorism and help establish peace, stability, and lasting security in this country, he added.
He further stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran will pursue the case legally and reserves its right to respond to the organized terrorism of the fake Zionist regime at the appropriate time and place.
Issuing a statement on Saturday afternoon, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed the martyrdom of several of its advisory forces in an Israeli strike on Syria.
Once again, the evil and criminal Zionist regime invaded Damascus, the capital of Syria, the IRGC statement reads.
