The two diplomats talked about a range of regional issues, including the war on Gaza.

Appreciating Egypt’s efforts to stop the Israeli regime’s genocidal crimes in Gaza, Amirabdollahian expressed Iran’s readiness to deliver humanitarian aid supplies into the Palestinian enclave with the help of Egypt.

For his part, Shoukry decried the Zionist regime’s massacre of Palestinian civilians and the extensive damages caused by seven months of onslaught against Gaza.

The Egyptian foreign minister also expressed hope that the ongoing political efforts and negotiations would end the war against Gaza and help restore the rights of Palestinians.

The two foreign ministers finally expressed hope that the OIC summit in the Gambia would strengthen Muslim unity in support of Palestine and contribute to the settlement of regional problems.
