Turkey’s Exports to Iran Surpass $800 Million in Q1 2024
Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) announced that the country has exported more than $800 million in products to Iran in the first quarter of 2024, showing a 16% hike compared to the same period last year.

Turkey had exported $701 million worth of products to Iran in the first three months of 2023.
In the first quarter of 2024, the value of trade exchanges between Iran and Turkey has hit $1.364 billion, registering a 16 percent decline compared to the last year’s corresponding period.
A decline in Turkey’s imports from Iran has been cited as the main reason behind the drop in the trade exchanges between the two neighbors during the three-month period.
Turkey had imported $934 million worth of products from Iran between January and March 2023, while this figure has reached $547 million in the first three months of the current year, showing a 41% decline. / Tasnim
