EghtesadOnline: Disputes over Iranian pension funds are coming to a boil, a former official with Social Security Organization in Legal and Parliamentary Affairs said.

EghtesadOnline: Over 23 million people are employed in Iran, but those who contribute to pension funds are fewer than 17 million, suggesting that six million workers are either uninsured or working in the informal economy, a deputy minister of cooperatives, labor and social welfare said.

EghtesadOnline: Of the 20 funds paying pension to retirees in Iran, 18 are bankrupt, a member of Majlis Social Commission said.
