EghtesadOnline: Maku Free Trade Zone in northwestern Iran will soon become the country’s major port of entry for importing livestock and meat, as per the preliminary agreement reached by the officials of FTZ and Trabzon, the largest city in the eastern Karadeniz region of Turkey.

EghtesadOnline: A total of $200 million in foreign investment were made in Maku Free Trade Zone’s production units since 2013 when President Hassan Rouhani first took office.

EghtesadOnline: A memorandum of understanding was signed by Maku Free Zone, China Water Company and Azarab Oil and Gas Company to build two dams in West Azarbaijan Province.
