EghtesadOnline: China is willing to invest a total of $400 billion in Iran’s economic sectors as part of its 25-Year Cooperation Agreement, some $80 billion of which are to be in the mining sector , the head of Mines and Mineral Industries Commission of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture said.

EghtesadOnline: The average Producer Price Index for the mining sector in the four-quarter period ending Dec. 21, 2019, increased by 52% compared with the same period of last year, according to the latest data released by the Statistical Center of Iran.

EghtesadOnline: There has been a substantial growth in the value of coverage provided by Mining Investment Insurance Corporation to investors in the mining sector in the previous Iranian year (ended March 20, 2018), the head of the organization said.

EghtesadOnline: The average Producer Price Index for the mining sector in the four-quarter period ending Sept. 22, which marks the end of the second quarter of the current fiscal year (March 2019-20), increased by 59.2% compared with the same period of last year, according to data reported by the Statistical Center of Iran.

EghtesadOnline: The Iranian mining sector is expecting new projects to come on stream by March 2019 with an investment of $5.5 billion.
