EghtesadOnline: Rents will not experience a significant increase this year, as the presidential elections on May 19 will give impetus to the beleaguered housing sector, the head of Tehran Association of Realtors said.

EghtesadOnline: Although Iran is set to hold two important elections, namely the presidential and city and village councils polls, in May, there will be no fluctuations in the housing market and the sector is expected to experience a steady trend until June 2017, said Hesam Oqbaei , the head of Tehran Association of Realtors.

EghtesadOnline: The four years of deep recession in the housing sector are predicted to end by the second half of the current Iranian year (September 2017), the head of Tehran Association of Realtors said.

EghtesadOnline: The housing sector has entered its "first phase of recovery" and is on the threshold of a pre-boom trajectory that should eventually lead to an upturn, according to a leading real estate expert.
