EghtesadOnline: A total of 124 million square feet of leather were produced in Iran during the last fiscal year (March 2019-20), according to the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade’s Planning Department.

EghtesadOnline: A total of $7 million worth of unfinished leather and wet-blue (processed raw hide before turning into finished leather ) were exported from Iran during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 20-Aug. 21), according to the head of Hide and Wet-Blue Producers and Exporters Union, who doubles as the head of Iran's Export Confederation.
