Raw Silk Cocoon

EghtesadOnline: Raw silk cocoon production is estimated to reach 1,400 tons in the current fiscal year (March 2019-20) to register a 43.15% increase compared with last year, the deputy agriculture minister for livestock affairs said.

EghtesadOnline: A total of 39,800 boxes of silkworm eggs were distributed among silk farmers, from which 1,385 tons of raw silk cocoons were produced in the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2019).
