Iran's H1 Foreign Trade Up 47% to $45b

8.8m Tons of Essential Goods Imported Over Four Months

EghtesadOnline: Atotal of 8.86 million tons of essential goods worth $3.97 billion were imported into Iran during the first four months of the current fiscal year (March 20-July 21), registering a 0.41% increase in weight but a 30% decline in value compared with the corresponding period of last year, according to Rouhollah Latifi, the spokesman of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration .
