EghtesadOnline: The government’s five prioritized rail projects, namely Khash-Zahedan, Bostanabad-Tabriz, Mianeh-Ardabil, Hamedan-Sanandaj and Rasht-Caspian, have made an average progress of 75% and all are expected to come on stream within a year, according to a deputy minister of roads and urban development.

EghtesadOnline: Atotal of 89 rail projects worth 2.77 trillion rials ($10.73 million) were recently inaugurated across the country, during a ceremony attended by Minister of Rroads and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami and CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways Saeed Rasouli.

EghtesadOnline: The Ministry of Roads and Urban Development plans to inaugurate seven rail projects stretching 1,443 kilometers across the country by the end of next Iranian year (March 2022).
