EghtesadOnline: Construction of two desalination plants in Qeshm Island, Hormozgan Province, has started to improve water supply to rural areas, managing director of the Hormozgan Water and Wastewater Company said.

EghtesadOnline: To supply rural residents of the southern Hormozgan Province with piped water, the construction of three desalination plants with a capacity of 34,000 cubic meters per day is underway, the head of the provincial Water and Wastewater Company said.

EghtesadOnline: Sixty desalination plants produce 250,000 cubic meters of water per day in the coastal regions, namely Khuzestan, Hormozgan and Bushehr, deputy chief engineer with the National Water and Wastewater Engineering Company said.
