EghtesadOnline: Four years after losing its place on the Global Geoparks Network, Qeshm Geopark has managed to reclaim its global status, which is the only geological site in the Middle East to enjoy such a distinction.

EghtesadOnline: The final decision on whether Qeshm Geopark reenters the coveted Global Geoparks Network will be made in April, according to the geopark’s director.

EghtesadOnline: Secretary General of UNESCO National Commission in Iran Saadollah Nasiri Qeidari said here on Tuesday said that Qeshm Geopark would be registered on the list of UNESCO's Global Geopark Network by the end of summer.
