Exports Via Railroad Up 55 Percent
EghtesadOnline: Iran's exports via railroads increased 55% during the 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2016-January 19, 2017) compared with the similar period of the previous year, according to director of Transit Commission at the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways, Hosssein Ashouri. He did not mention the volume of cargos exported during the period, type of commodities or export destinations. Iran has rail connections with Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Turkey and Iraq.
