EghtesadOnline: Iran exported 2,318 tons of refined vegetable oil during the six months to Sept. 22, 284% higher compared to last year’s corresponding period, the Iranian Vegetable Oil Industry Association announced.

EghtesadOnline: Some 220,000 tons of colza are estimated to be harvested in the current Iranian year (started March 21), from which about 100,000 tons of high-quality vegetable oil will be produced, a deputy agriculture minister said.

EghtesadOnline: Domestic demand for raw vegetable oil stands at about 1.5 million tons per year, the manager of Oilseeds Project carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture said.
