EghtesadOnline: Some 514,000 tons of commodities worth $224 million were exported from West Azarbaijan Province in Iran’s northwest during the six months to Sept. 22, registering a 2% rise in value and a 38% decrease in tonnage compared with last year’s corresponding period, the head of West Azarbaijan Industries and Mines Organization announced.

EghtesadOnline: More than 1.2 million tons of apples will be produced from close to 60,500 hectares of apple orchards in West Azarbaijan Province located in Iran’s northwest during the current fiscal year that started March 21, according to Chairman of West Azarbaijan Agricultural Jihad Organization Esmaeil Karimzadeh.
