EghtesadOnline: Cargo handling capacity in Iranian ports increased 17% during the administration of President Hassan Rouhani, the head of Iran Ports and Maritime Organization said, adding that port capacity increased from 180 million tons in the fiscal year to March 2014, when Rouhani took office, to 210 million tons last year.

EghtesadOnline: Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mohammad Saeednejad said plans are underway to increase the capacity of Iranian ports to 250 million tons per annum in the next four years.
