EghtesadOnline: The government will invest $10.66 billion on the renovation and replacement of decrepit intra- and inter-city transportation fleet.

EghtesadOnline: During the Norouz (Iranian New Year) holidays (from March 15 to April 6), a total of 758,963 trips made by Iran’s public road transportation fleet handled 7,788,879 passengers, registering a 3.4% increase and 6% decrease respectively year-on-year, according to deputy minister of roads and urban development.

EghtesadOnline: The results of a study by Majlis Research Center show out of six subcategories of transportation, “road transport” has the highest direct job creation coefficient among 35 economic sectors.
