EghtesadOnline: Twelve “new towns” have been planned in 10 provinces with the aim, among other things, of developing urban living areas and creating much-needed jobs.

EghtesadOnline: The Iranian government will commence the process of building two new towns in the southern Chabahar County in Sistan-Baluchestan Province from next week, the newly-appointed CEO of the New Towns Development Company said.
